It has been a few months now and with the flood of new information through E3 and corocoro what do you think? What are your hopes for the new region? What new concepts do you expect to see in this game. What are your thoughts on the new fairy type? How do you think this transition will affect old time and new gamers? My mind is absolutely blown away by all the info we received at E3. Even when X and Y were first announced I was over joyed to see it which btw I woke up at 4 am just to see(so worth it).
There’s so many new features being introduced to X and Y an the games haven’t even been released yet. I’ve gotta say I’ve been playing the series since Red/Blue came out, but I’ve never been this excited for a Pokemon game before.
X and Y are in 3D with awesome graphics however graphics only makes the game “look good”, it doesn’t make the game good. Though some games have to rely on it’s graphics just so that people will play it if they didn’t have such good graphics then no one would want it.
I’m hopping the region is big, an that we have more freedom on where we go instead of being on a straight path. Which I hope Lumiose City will give us that opportunity since five routes come out from it. My thoughts on the new fairy type, I like more types being added to the game as long as it doesn’t unbalance the game. I’m glad that Game Freak actually balances the type chart more when they do add in a new type. I hate the fact so many people keep bring up the Light/Sound type rumor. The Dark type has nothing to do with the Dark. In Japanese Dark type is Evil type referring to dirty tricks which is why Fighting types are super-effective against them. In that aspect Fighting type is the fan base communities Light type that they’ve been demanding for all these years. An sound type is just ridiculous but with each new generation both of these fan made types will appear in rumors but that’s all they’ll ever be.
I’ve already said I’ve been playing since Red/Blue so how will this effect me. I now have a new found love for the series, I thought B/W, B2/W2 were fantastic but X and Y are mind blowing.
